Recently, Tanzania’s Teff Float Glass Factory welcomed distinguished visitors—Kitila Alexander Mkumbo, Minister of Investment and Planning, accompanied by 14 Members of Parliament and senior officials, including the Director-General of the Tanzania Investment Centre. Clad in workwear emblazoned with the logo of Henan Installation, the delegation toured the production floor. As the "Henan Installation" insignia on their uniforms gleamed alongside molten glass flowing in the furnace, Tanzania National Television captured this symbolic industrial dialogue.

Dubbed "workwear diplomacy," this event, covered by over 10 local official media outlets, has reverberated across government and media platforms. Henan Installation’s uniforms have become a unique medium for showcasing Chinese corporate branding, while its projects have sparked widespread acclaim.

The Teff Glass Factory, now a focal point of discussion, embodies the cutting-edge credentials of "Intelligent Manufacturing in China." Constructed by Henan Installation as Eastern Africa’s first float glass production line, the facility has operated at a daily capacity of 600 metric tons since its commissioning in 2024. It not only addresses Tanzania’s historical reliance on imported high-quality glass by meeting domestic demand but also exports products across East Africa. The project has catalyzed growth in local mining, transportation, service sectors, import-export trade, maritime-land logistics, and glass processing industries. Additionally, it has generated substantial employment opportunities, boosted foreign exchange reserves, and injected robust momentum into regional development. The Teff Group and Henan Installation Group have since solidified a long-term strategic partnership in glass production line collaboration.

The visibility of Henan Installation’s workwear reflects its strategic global expansion. The parent company established an international engineering division, with eight overseas subsidiaries registered in Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Thailand, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and beyond. Its footprint spans over 20 countries and regions across Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. Subsidiaries such as Xinghan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (exporting lactic acid products) and Yu’an Metal Structure Company (specializing in steel structures) have also expanded their international market reach.
