What to pay attention to in designing steel structure workshop?

1. Anti-seepage

Prevent rainwater from seeping into the metal roof panel from outside. Rainwater mainly enters the metal roof through the lap joint gap or node. To achieve the function of anti-seepage, it is necessary to use a sealing washer in the screw mouth and then use hidden fixing, use sealant or welding treatment in the lap joint of the boards, it is better to use through-length boards in order to eliminate the lap joints, and expand the waterproofing treatment tightly in various node parts.

2. Fireproof

When a fire occurs, the metal roofing material will not burn, and the fire will not penetrate the metal roof panel.

3. Wind pressure resistance

Resisting the local maximum wind pressure, the metal roof panel will not be pulled off by negative wind pressure. Wind resistance is related to the buckling force of the metal roof panel and the fixing seat, and the density of the fixing seat.

4. Sound insulation

Prevent sound from being transmitted from outdoors to indoors or from indoors to outdoors. In the metal roof layer filled with sound insulation materials (usually filled with thermal insulation cotton), the sound insulation effect is expressed by the sound intensity difference in decibels between the two sides of the metal roof layer. The sound insulation effect is related to the density and thickness of the sound insulation material. It should be noted that the soundproof material has different blocking effects on different frequencies of sound.

5. Ventilation

Air exchange between indoors and outdoors. Ventilators are installed on the metal roof.

6. Moisture prevention

Prevent water vapor condensation in the bottom layer of metal roofing and metal roofing layer, and drain away the water vapor in the metal roofing layer. The solution is to fill the metal roof layer with heat preservation cotton, lay a waterproof membrane on the metal roof substrate, and have a ventilated node on the metal roof panel.

7. Load bearing

Load-bearing construction load, rain, dust, snow pressure, maintenance load. The load-bearing performance of metal roof panel is related to the cross-section characteristics of the plate type, the strength and thickness of the material, the way of transmitting force, and the spacing of purlins (sub-purlins).

8. Lightning protection

Lead the lightning to the ground and prevent the lightning from penetrating the metal roof into the interior.

9. Insulation

Prevent heat from being transmitted on both sides of the metal roof, so that the indoor temperature is stable. The function of heat preservation can be realized by filling heat preservation materials (commonly used ones are glass wool and rock wool) under the metal roof panel.

10. Lighting

Improve indoor lighting through a skylight during the daytime to save energy. In the specific location of the metal roofing arrangement of light panels or light glass, should consider the service life of the skylight and metal roofing panels to coordinate the connection between the skylight and the metal roofing panels to do a good job of waterproofing.
